Bob & Michael’s Place is a response to one of our neighbourhood’s greatest needs—affordable community housing where residents will not only live, but thrive. This project uplifts the community through infrastructure built around the needs of those who live and work in the neighbourhood.
Building a thriving community, within a community
It has taken an incredible community of donors, volunteers, supporters and friends to bring this project to completion. The vision for Bob & Michael’s Place is for tenants to find a community within a community, giving them not only a place to live, but a community to thrive in.
Lowering barriers to access healthcare & resources
Unique to Bob & Michael’s Place is the Community Partnerships Program that will connect local organizations with residents to offer opportunities and resources in Wellness, Life Skills and Mentoring, and Experiences to enjoy throughout the city, tailored to their specific needs and interests.
Create a new standard of community housing
The first of its kind in Canada, Bob & Michael’s Place strives to build a new standard for community housing in the city and across the country.
